Nepal Festival Brisbane 2018
It was another freedom again to connect for Nepalese Festival in Brisbane that developed in King George Square on Saturday 17th of November 2018. Though I missed an opportunity to see the parade in the morning, I was peering for space and occasion when I can break out from my struggle so I can revel in our cultural festival. Jonathan was kept sending me photos which work up to me more than I was excited myself. The photos were so much impressive which express itself the festival is going to be amazing and wonderful. Anu, Srijana, Babita, Bijaya were Brighton with typical Nepalese dress where Jonathan was with half a Nepalese dress but the Nepalese Topi was not supporting him well being a small size, oops what did I say just but he was looking cute as he was trying blend in with the crowd.
Finlay, the time hit the at 1:30 pm which allows me to escape from the work, with a short conversation with Suresh, I just run away to home so I can attend the festival vibe. We altogether planned to go to the city for a cultural festival but before that Jonathan asked if we could cook for girls as they cooked brekky and lunch. I did accept easily then had a quick shopping from Coorparoo coles. We had a fun conversation during our quick drive in a brand new car of Jonathan.
Finally, we four only at King George square again, but we missed the seven different dance already because of arriving late. Crowds were lingering with different nature where the smoke in the sky was keeping sending notification if I can provide a downpour for the whole Brisbane city, there was so any option left behind it which we all had to accept it. Yes, we had a shower now and everyone was looking for a shelter. Here you go now, the crowd was covered with umbrella and we only could see Expert Education in the umbrella, thank you expert education for providing umbrella which we missed to have one, it is one of the best ways to advertise in the crowd, I also thank expert education as they came up with weather broadcast and knew it is gonna rain today, clever Expert Education ha.
The rain gave us a small amount chance to stand without an umbrella again to enjoy the Nepalese artist performance. I truly enjoyed all the artist performance such as Bishow Nepali, Rajesh Payal Rai, etc. I did dance with so much energy myself inside me only that no one could see.
The Cultural festival was held in the heart of Brisbane city at the King George Square which was organized by the NRNA Nepalese committee in association with Nepalese Embassy of Canberra and in conjunction with Consulate General of New South Wales & Victoria and Nepalese community organisation. The festival went well so far in the same way to Sydney, Melbourne etc. Thank you NRNA and Nepalese Embassy for organizing such a wonderful cultural festival.
The Nepalese cultural parade was held at 10 AM which shows the Nepalese culture and tradition, This festival was included Nepalese Food, Dance, Tradition Dance, Artist performance, Live music, Nepal house and so much more.
