When it comes to Nepali food, You may scratch your head, what exactly Nepali food is? what is Nepali cuisine? here in Australia. It may be not common for you unless you have visited Nepal or have tried Nepali cuisine somewhere in Australia or our of Australia. But I say it is delicious, a touch of spicy with a combination of mixed fresh or dry herbs and the style of cooking from the special chef. Come with us, I will try to introduce a small brief of Nepali food and restaurant located in Brisbane, Australia.

Recently one of our friends acknowledge us that he is flying over to Australia, just a day ago, and there are no any convienced plan set up what we should do for his tour treatment for his quick visit to Brisbane. I was glad that i am always free after 2 pm so I can take him surroundings, in a same way Anu was able to organise free up her for one day so she can show him Brisbane City, local market, shopping mall, transportation etc.

Anyway, we always had a great time after 2 pm, We went to Coolloongatta beach next to Gold Coast which is a quiet and nice beach to visit with no hassle of traffic, easy access. Samsher revelled in the planned traffic, road access, discipline of driving in Brisbane, the rules and regulation, the way they assemble, managed buildings and he imagined if our Nepalese engineer could follow the same step to formulate buildings and road constructions. We also had a quick consultancy regarding our political leaders who visited many foreign countries but go back to Nepal with no ideas, with no energy, with no concept. We then ended up with no conclusion, that they cannot be changed ever. When we played at the beach, we regret if we would have brought towels and cloth to change but Samsher got wet with the splash of water but we fully appreciate. We yet did not have any perception what we should have in the dinner as Anu was at work but in the mean, I got a call from Anu and decided to visit one of the Nepalese restaurants in the city. We then decided to visit Paddington Curry House.

As we enter the restaurant, we had a very warmed welcome by the owner and his wife which made us so much easy to choose the foods. The restaurant is located in the heart of Brisbane city in Latrobe Terrace, Paddington 4064 with plenty of car park spaces. Paddington Curry house serves the typical Nepalese and Indian Cuisine with lots of mixed fresh and dry herbs that brings to taste. Experienced Chefs from Nepal and India presents a delicious taste of Nepal and India, different taste than any other Nepalese restaurant in Brisbane, This is one of my fabulous restaurants now. If you are in Brisbane I highly recommend you visit once the Paddington Curry house, I guarantee with no doubt you will come to back to have dinner again and again.
