Nepali Rock Concert in Brisbane—Robin & the new Revolution

During my second concert experience, I had the opportunity to see two performances. The first was by Nepathya, a popular Nepali band, and the second was by Robin and the New Revolution. The concert took place on June 17, 2012, at 608 Ann Street in Fortitude Valley, Brisbane. Although I am unaware of the specific organizer, I attended the event with the intention of experiencing the rock music of Nepal.

The concert venue was a lively pub and bar, where the atmosphere was filled with energy. My friend, Shudarshan, and I paid 25 Australian dollars each and presented our identification as proof of adulthood to gain entry to the pub.

Music holds significant importance as it conveys information and stimulates the listener’s brain in a way that is easily comprehensible. It allows us to understand the internal mental state of the performer, which, in turn, influences our emotional response to the music. This accounts for the profound emotional effect that music can have on us.

Overall, the concert experience was a memorable one, filled with the excitement of live performances and the enjoyment of rock songs from Nepal.
