Haluwa

My Nepal has a different flavor in dishes, one of them is called ”Haluwa” which is made from suji flour or also known as semolina. I say it’s one of the quickest sweet recipes in Nepal and easy to make. It often used as snacks in Nepal either during the day time or after the lunch or before the dinner but mostly it is also used as sacred items during the festival which is commonly known as a ”Prasad” for the holy offering.

Whether it is in the Terai region of the Himalayan region of Nepal, Sujiko Haluwa is one of the most common dishes in Nepal. It can be used with some mixed vegetable, gravy style to make it much tastier. Thank you, Riya Shree sali nani for your wonderful Nepalese style Haluwa and photos.
